Fast Company executive editor Rick Tetzeli and noted technology journalist Brent Schlender will be releasing a new Steve Jobs biography titled ‘Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader.’ The upcoming book features 25 years worth of Jobs interviews with the previous CEO’s inner circle including current Apple CEO Tim Cook, Laurene Powell Jobs, SVP of Design Jony Ive, and others. Information from Jobs’ friends, family, and competitors will give the audience a better idea of what he was really like.

Schlender had multiple interviews with Jobs after meeting in 1986 and establishing a relationship with him, as he used to work for Fortune and The Wall Street Journal. Disney CEO Bob Iger as well as John Lasseter and Eddy Cue have also interviewed Jobs (which is also included in the book). According to the website,

A brilliantly reported, compellingly written book that overturns the conventional view of Steve Jobs—the Jobs that is frozen forever as half genius, half jerk—Becoming Steve Jobs answers the central question about the life and career of the Apple cofounder and CEO: How did a young man so reckless and arrogant that he was exiled from the company he founded become the most effective visionary business leader of our time?
And according to John Gruber from Daring Fireball, who received an advanced copy of the book,

It is, in short, the book about Steve Jobs that the world deserves.
Those who would like to read the upcoming biography ‘Becoming Steve Jobs:The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader' can preorder it from Barnes & Noble, the iTunes iBookstore and from Amazon.com. The book will officially be released on March 24th, 2015.
