By now, it's no secret that Apple is courting the photography, graphic design and artist communities very aggressively with the company's marketing efforts for iPad Pro and the iPhone 6s line. But now the iDevice maker is going one step further.

According to published reports on Wednesday, Apple is set to begin hosting in-store workshops to help cultivate the skills of budding artists wanting to use their iDevices for artistic endeavors -- personal or professional.

"We'll help you try out various accessories and techniques -- like long exposure for light trails, using Time-lapse to show progression, or getting up close with nature using a macro lens," Apple says of its workshops. "Then, we'll explore artistic ways to adjust and edit your photos, so you can create a work of art, find your style, or just improve your skills."

According to CNET, which first broke the news, Apple will start hosting these "in-store, hands-on workshops" in January. The instructions planned are designed to "teach consumers at all skill levels how to use a variety of apps to capture images more creatively."

To learn more, check in with your local Apple Store to find out if such a workshop is available in your neck of the woods.
