What kinds of television software does everyone use?

I recently came across Livestation and it seems to be one of the better options, however, it has not been released for PPC Macs. Has anyone else tried it?

I use EyeTV, which is great, does all the MP2 compression in real-time.

No it's worth every cent. I recorded this with it. image quality is perfect and records in HD, then you can sync it with your iphone!

EyeTV comes with everything you need. Its a hardware/software combo. You can connect either directly to the coaxial cable line, S-video or composite video (and audio). There is a built-in hardware MPEG2 encoder (which standard DVDs use). The software acts as a TV Guide, Video clip editor, Recording timer, and can also save your videos in different formats for web, iphone, and other stuff.
