    Hi All,

    Thinking of setting up a NAS box after I lost all my data, (I know...prevention cure etc...2 hdd died at same time...gone)

    So the kicker, obviously a lot of friends use windows and LAN days are usually spent on my Bootcamp partition.

    While I shouldn't be catering for mates first, I'm wondering what the best way is to setup said NAS box. It would be ideal if I could stay with NTFS for it (as most other systems I attach would prefer it, ie media player etc...)

    I'm torn re ease of access for other people vs the fact I'd be using it 98% of the time.

    Suggestions? Anyone in a similar situation or have a NAS running with your MAC?

    Additionally I used to use /etc/fstab experimental ntfs enable ..ie

    Label=drivename none ntfs rw,auto,nobrowse

    also tried

    UUID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx none ntfs rw,auto,nobrowse

    and they don't appear to work anymore.

    any suggestions?

    running Official Yosemite release

    (prior running of paragon messed with my Bootcamp)
