    Hey guys...

I'm thinking of buy a new MBP very very soon, and I was hoping you could help me with my descision.

    My first option would be:

    15" MBP 2.53 Ghz i5 128GB SSD

    or

    15" MBP 2.66 Ghz i7 500GB 7200 Rpm

I know the i7 beats the i5 in most of the things, but I'm guessing over all the experience with the ssd and the i5 would be better... I know that the samsung ssd's that apple are using aren't the best compared to the ones from intel, but I'm not a fan of voiding my warranty and changing it myself...

With which one should I go?

What do you intend to do with it? If you aren't a gamer then go with the i5. If you do a lot of gaming then go with the i7.

No I'm not a gamer at all...

Mostly use it for work which involves video/picture editing etc

So I guess the i5 would be okay?

If you are video editing I would run with the i7. The more power the better. Your editing will process faster, not that the i5 is a slouch by any means.

I would say the i7 is the way to go. The SSD would be nice but compared to having 500gb I would say go with the i7 especially if you are going to be doing video editing.

    iPhone 4 16GB

I think You should go with i7. In my opinion it will be more competitive in the long run. I'm planning on buying one for development purposes. Have anyone tried this commercial office for rent site. I'm interested in it.
