I've used Crucial's SSD for clients: Crucial Solid-State Drives - Hard Drive replacement for notebook and netbook

OWC tends to be pretty expensive. Shop around.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!

Yep. All SSD's will be standard SATA 3. The last one I installed was in a 13" MacBook Pro. Installed the stock drive in an external enclosure and restore the data from it to the new SSD using Disk Utility.

If you want to get a well-priced SSD that you know for absolute sure will work, then Crucial is a good place to look. If you want performance, I would look at Samsung models. When you buy from crucial, the most storage the SSD has, the better speeds it has. The SSD's with less storage have lower read/write speeds. I'm not sure if that is the case with Samsung or not.

I picked up a Intel Series 320 120GB SSD up for $200 bucks a week ago and love it. It works beautifully in my MBP 13" i5.
