Ok, so I installed BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH, and what do they do exactly? No icon for either one, so how can I even use SSH? Also, I cant seem to uninstall BSD, it says reinstall even though I can have the Dock program? Idont know can anybody help me out here?

Open SSH I believe is for accessing the iphone wirelessly through programs such as FUGU and CyberDuck?

If you are helped, use the button. It's a much better stat than a post count.

According to a computer programmer, Open SSH is used between two systems as a key so that they can communicate, and BSD is Unix tools .

EDIT: I figured it out, the comp. pro. was right, it allows for a connection to be made for terminal use via the computer to the iPhone

It doesn't hurt the phone at all. There primarily is no reason to uninstall, plus many 3rd part apps require the unix tools to function.
