I'm trying to install Apache/PHP on my iPhone 3G with the 3.0 Firmware.

I've been able to find/install PHP via Cydia, but can't find any information on how to get Apache.

All instructions I can find are old and refer to the installer.app which I can't seem to find information on installing for the 3.0 Fw (as it wasn't an option in reds0w.

I would be really interested in this to if there is any possible way to make it happen. Apparently nothing is happening on the Installer.app side of things, and apache is not available in cydia. I'm going to try to compile from the source, posting back here soon.

For anyone interested in this, I had gotten lighthttpd installed and it worked fine. I am not an experienced lighthttpd user, but I got it working. I don't like it as much as apache more configing, but it's fast.

I just wish some smart assembly people could find a way to oc the iphone 3g...

I am very intrested in this.

I am also trying to install PHP/Mysql and Apache on my iphone 2g. I was thinking if you installed netatalk on your iphone so the phone can be viewed in the finder on your mac os and use mamp to manually install AMP on you iphone if this would work.

But if anybody has found a solution I would like to know, I will post back if what I am trying to do will work hopefully it does not break my phone.
