Ok, why do you guys think this is my app?. I'm getting PM's such as "Why are you charging so much?" "Nobody will ever pay that much for an app"

GUYS, THIS IS NOT MY APP!!!. I'm only passing along the information. Just wanted to clarify. Once again, I'm not affiliated with this company nor did I part-take in anything. I just found the link in a vietnamese forum.

We are the author of iPhone Recorder.
We sold the application for $29.95 but now, considering the public opinion we have decided to reduce the price to its half, that is $14.95.

If you have any comments or concerns about iPhone Recorder, feel free to email us. Your feedback is important to us in order to get an idea of how to make iPhone Recorder a better product for you. Many of iPhone Recorder's features and significant portions of iPhone Recorder's interface have been heavily influenced by comments from users. So if you have a grand idea for a new feature, or a better way of doing something, please drop us a note.

    It is $14.95 now.

offer phone call recording and people will gladly pay 14.95. The problem is is there is already an app that does just about the same thing. If you want people to pay, you need to offer something different.

Hey I understand you wanna make a profit and thats coo.. But really do you feel as if your work wont be appreciated as much if your app was free? I just dont understand how devs like the Devteam make extraordinary app and tools for the iPhone community all for free. And some devs come around and make pretty cool apps that arent necessarily useful, but still cool and overcharge its crazy. I mean i'm not a dev so i dont know how hard it really is to build an app, but its kinda weird to me why everyone wants to charge now seeing how jailbreaking is suppose to get us apps the iphone should of had. Good job thou with you app and also i just wanna say im not hating on you. Hey you gotta do what you gotta do.

I concur 100%. If you offered phone call recording, I will gladly pay $14.95. As of right now, the feature list isn't anything much more than could be had with Vnotes

I believe $9.99 is the sweet spot for apps, with $4.99 being the ideal target.

$4.99 is the price of a lunch at a fast food joint, nothing to significant to feel cheated out of if you're not happy with the purchase.

Lower price points encourage impulse purchases, and at the end of the day, selling 4 apps for for 30 dollars beats not selling any at $29.99.

Supply and demand. You're absolutely right on the impulse buy. I have a feeling many of these apps will come from others for free or for much less come June. Some of them even from Apple as long awaited updates? Gasp!
