Is there a way to Jailbreak a 3G with the most current baseband? Do i just run redsn0w? Any help is appreciated.

Use redsn0w 0.9.2 - the instructions are in the program so you just do what it tells you to.

You'll need to download the stock 3.1.2 firmware file. You don't restore to it, redsn0w just uses some files from it.

You can download redsn0w here: 3G unlock - official redsn0w devteam site

You can download stock firmwares here: iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download

I actually just did it and it worked fine. I used redsn0W 0.9.4 and it worked fine. I did have to find the 3.1.2 firmware though. Funny thing is that iTunes shows it as having firmware 3.1.3. Oh well it works. Thanks for your help.

Just a follow-up, your firmware is actually 3.1.3 - redsn0w just uses some files from the 3.1.2 firmware to jailbreak 3.1.3 - it doesn't change the current firmware on the phone, which in your case is 3.1.3
