    I want to activate my iphone (I am in usa and have att service). When i plug it into itunes it asks to sign up for a data plan, if i sign up for the data plan and cancel it the very next day does att charge a fee or anything for cancellation?

    True, but most care reps will give you the run around when it comes to the iphone data plans....as well as forget to remove the pay per use feature when requested which leads to astronomical data charges.

    Yes, this is certainly true, which is why I disabled Edge on my iPhone.
    About 4 web pages ate through $20 on my gophone account just that fast.

    Also, If you are intending to disable Edge don't use the Services toggle switch because that doesn't work.(cost me more money the hard way)
