Hi, a friend of mine , came from new york to Israel and asked me if it is possible to use his israeli sim card in his iPhone, since his iphone is activated and being used as a legally customer in the US. I answered.. "sure, lets run anysim... so it was... and then when he came back to the US, he inserted the at&t sim back to the iphone.. and it said NO SERVICE...

so there are couple of questions:

    1. is it possible that at&t knows that this phone was unlocked ?

    2. is it possible to have at & T account and to unlock the iphone for other sim cards simultansely ?

    3. what procedures can i take to overcome this issue ?

    thanks ,

    Adam

    YES.

An unlock phone means you can use any sim in it.
