Hi, Is there an estimation on when a hack will be available for unlocking and activating an Iphone with V1.1.3?

    Thanks,

It is a secret. The devs are actually in hidding because Apple has a standing kill order set for them. It will probably get released when they feel they are safe. Which could be months.

    FYI,

If you are joking than it is not funny, if you are serious than I am very pleased.

Never my friend. The "Devs" are beaten. Get one of those Sim modifiers that trick the phone into thinking your sim is AT&T.

The previous poster was joking about it being secret but the real secret is that "The Devs" dont want to come out and tell you that the bootloader problem has them totally baffled and even when a new firmware version arrives, the bootloader issue will remain. Firmware and bootloader are two different processes. The new firmware will NOT be the big breakthrough some are trying to get you to anticipate. 1.1.3 will bring no "key" to the unlocking dilema.

Contrary to popular belief, the famous "Devs" are not even working on this.

Thanks for clarifying. The issue is that I bought a 1.1.3 iphone and wanted to see where I stand. Will current JailBreaker or other methods used for unlocking 1.1.2 will work on the new 1.1.3?

The Devs may (may) have been beat, but the IPSF team are the ones who took advantage of the original bootloader weaknesses, and they ARE working on this one as well.

You have a 1.1.3 phone? When did you buy it? And what's the week number?
