Im brand new to these threads and come to you all looking for help with my current problem/situation. I have an iPhone 4 that i purchased back in the states and used on the AT&T network. I am in the military and recently got stationed in Germany. I was told that all I needed to do to use it over here was to unlock it and plug and play a sim from a local provider. So i got a contract with O2 and jailbroke my phone using redsn0w 0.9.10. After jailbreaking it, i took out the old sim and put in my O2 sim and now all it says is "No Service". Ive been searching for hours online and ran through some of the "quick fixes" that I found that apparantly worked for others. So far I have:

    - Installed ultrasn0w and Mobile Substrate from Cydia
    - Restored to factory settings and re-jailbroke with the O2 sim inside

So far neither have worked. If anyone could please point me in the right directions to the steps I need to take or has any input on how I can resolve this I would extremely grateful. Thank you in advance

It would be much easier for others to help you if you provide the following:

    1. iPhone Model
    2. Baseband
    3. Version (eg. iOS 5.0, 4.3.3, etc)

Of course, sorry I didnt include it to begin with. Here it is:

    Model: iPhone 4 (iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405)
    Baseband: 04.11.08
    Version: 5.0.1

Hope that helps and thanks again

It is not unlock able at this time. Really sucks. But, everything you see as of now saying it will unlock 04.11 is fake.
