I have an iPhone 5 I used to use under contract with Verizon. I'm running into the same issue I ran into trying to unlock someone else's phone in the past. I have informed Verizon that I will not be paying the bill, and to cut my service. I still have a Verizon signal on my phone. When I attempt to make a call, it rings once, and then forwards me to Verizon bill center. Is there a way to unlock my iPhone 5 for use? Ultrasn0w? SAM Unlock? Here's my iPhone details:

    iPhone 5
    Verizon
    Version: 6.1.2 (10B146)
    Carrier: Verizon 14.1
    Firmware: 3.04.25

Help please? Thanks for your time.

So how do I go about using it without contract? IMEI or sim unlock? Trying to find a free option.
    Thanks for the response.

Use a different sim grab an AT&T sim or tmobile I have no ideal why you would think Verizon would still give you service if you won't pay..
