I use to buy the unlock from eBay for cheap like $2 and so on, everything was fine all these days, all of a sudden from Oct 2nd the unlocks are delayed and the sellers are telling that the servers are down.

I want to unlock 2 of my AT&T phones, can anyone suggest any legit service for me.

Hi, at&t server is currently down worldwide and nobody can unlock at&t phones right now, only manufacturer method may be worked at this time, is a global problem you should have to wait until everything should be come back to normal.

Hi, i checked the site they offered too much price for att code,
i think there are so many sites which offer much low price for even manufacturer code.

My phone has been unlocked!!! It wasn't from Cowboy but StockUnlocks.com they were very professional. I'm sure Cowboy could have unlocked it but StockUnlocks had a 3 day head start. Cowboy if you have already submitted my IMEI I'm sorry. If not, keep the 25$ as a gift! Thank you.

There was update today on at least the reason ...

AT&T iPhone Unlocking Services Suspended -Shutdown Likely For Good (at bottom of screen)

Looks like AT&T pulled access from a few bad apples and/or giving access to too many people was driving the price down too much.

Probably the corporate guys at AT&T who are getting the kickbacks decided it was more profitable to give less access and drive the price up (and take a cut) than to give access to many on a smaller cut

In anycase, glad to see their back up and at least being offered.

We buy back cell phones and most used collection high ends end up being unlocked or sent overseas to someone who will unlock. Very few are actually circulated back onto the original phones carrier. Market always fixes it's self. The $20-$30 fee will simply be another step in the collection process rather than an "additional cost" (being that the buy back prices from everyone will drop proportionately ti the markets unlock price)

Had colleague use Cowboy for his unlock a while back. Can be trusted.
