    Hi
I just unlocked my new iphone last night. It worked great all day. Then this evening it stopped seeing my service provider. I checked the sim card in another phone and it works. I tried another sim from another provider and it did not work.
The phone now tells me it "needs repair" and to contact Apple.
I tried the last step of the unlock process again, but that did not help.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

when I start it up, everything works except when I attempt to make a call, I see no service provider or "bars" and the message comes up saying "repair needed, no calls can be made or received, contact Apple.com/support" or Dismiss button.

should I go to settings ad reset anything?

Now, when you say restore, are you talking about the reset feature in the iphone settings or are you talking about from iTunes? Because in iTunes the only restore feature I see there is talking about the 1.1.1 update (where we don't wanna go to). In my unlock process, I did down load the firmware iPhone 1,1_1. Is this the firmware I need? and how do I do this restore?
