    well, i did what i was told, and now i have an appointment with an apple genius or something or the sort. itunes doesn't detect my iphone, so no way or restoring it. this really turned out to be awesome.

    did you try putting it into recovery mode:

    hold the home button and the sleep/wake button for 25 seconds: that will put it into recovery mode. It will tell you to plug it in and itunes will recover your phone. it will delete all your data but you can load it back on by syncing.

    u can restore ur iphone using jailbreak & iphoneinterface. happened to me too and i fully restored my iphone

    Yup. Done a restore myself, no big deal, just annoying to read through all my Gmail again.

    hey guys. last night, after doing the holding down of both buttons literally 11 times, it finally asked me to connect to itunes, so i think i might try to do this again. and yes, gmail on the iphone sucks...sigh
