Im sitting with a iPhone im trying to get back on track.
    It's a 1.1.1oob soft upgraded to 1.1.3.

Acording to its owner this happened:
One day it wouldnt access sms.app and then he rebooted.
It then presented him with itunes + cabel logo.
He then tried to restore, but got error 1.
Ok so he tried DFU mode, no luck.
    He tried independance also.

Then he sends it to me.
When I turn on the phone it displays itunes logo. Then after 32-33 secs it reboots.
This it will do for around 13 min, and then turn off.

If I plug it into itunes it will detect the phone in recoverymode.
If I try to recover to any firmware it will return error 1.
Thats the code when the phone needs to be in DFU mode, right. Into DFU mode with ibrickr.
No error 1 this time, however is just sits there "waiting for iphone".
Also tried home + sleep and so on different ways.

A look into itunes logs reviels that this
    "operation 28 progress -1"
is where the iphone is stuck or whatever. This line is repeated forever in the log.
On a working restore this line is only repeated 3-5 times.

Anyone have any suggestion what to do?

I tried using ibrickr but had loads of problems.

nw Im in India, I need 2 use an unlocked iphone and jailbreaked.

Now wen i connected my iphone 2 my pc i gt a recovery mode in itunes.

I gt 1.0.2.jpsw file with ibrickr. I pressed SHIFT+Restore and selected this file.

    I gt error 1.

I gt 2 know that it wasnt in DFU mode.

Then I went to DFU mode and did the above step.

Now i gt the msg "waiting for iphone" I have waited for atleast 20 min and nothing has happened.

    Try Restarting Computer

    Putting iPhone in Recovery mode

Load iBrckr after reboot, don't load iTunes

when iBrckr detects phone, select downgrade, not boot phone

once screen turns WHITE, load iTunes, hold shift, click restore, select which ever Firmware you want to load, let it do its thing, if after the restore you get an error in iTunes, boot phone through iBrckr.

I would reccomend just loading 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 when you do the restore
    - iPhone 8gig and 16gig 3G - 3.0 - JailBroken + Unlocked to T-Mobile Unlimited Plan & Total Internet Plan.
    - iPod Touch - UnJailBroken
    - XBOX 360 - Modded Firmware - XBL (my s/n)
    - XBOX - Software Modded - XBMC
    - Dell Inspiron 1521 - [B]Vista Ultimate and
running Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.5.4 (YES! Mac OS on an Dell PC)
