so i installed the bsd subsystem and open ssh and been having tons of fun with it, customized ringtones and such. but im alittle concerned about leaving sshd up with a default root password. is there a way to change it and if so will it mess anything up?

Have you installed Services? If you haven't, I'd advice that you install that also. Services lets you turn on/off services like Edge, Wifi, Bluetooth, and of course, SSH.

But if you like, there show be a post/thread about changing the password.....I did it once but forgot how since I've updated my firmware from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3.

    Hope this helps.

BSD can't change the password(on 1.1.3+) ... but Cydia has a passwd command that does work!

my pass is no longer alpine!
